Jason Castiglione is currently a graduate student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Florida in Physics and Mathematics. He also holds a Masters Degree in Mathematics from University of Virginia.
His current studies are at the intersection of Information Theory and Theoretical Computer Science. His thesis work is focused on assessing the complexity of state based channels, and using coalgebraic methods to model channels and calculate information rates.
